Going solo and need honest feedback on my rough draft (7 อ่าน)

Alright so I've got my flights booked into Casablanca and out of Marrakech ten days later and I've been staring at maps and forum posts for weeks trying to piece something together that doesn't feel completely insane. I'm traveling alone, fairly experienced, and I really want to hit the highlights without spending my whole trip staring out a car window. My current thinking is land in Casablanca, train straight to Fes that same day to get the long travel out of the way, spend two full days there, then figure out a 3-day desert tour that drops me somewhere near Marrakech, and finally have a couple days at the end to explore Marrakech before flying home. I found a blog that outlined a really similar Morocco itinerary 10 days and it made me feel like I'm at least in the right ballpark but I'm second guessing whether I should swap Fes for Chefchaouen instead since the blue city photos are just stunning. I know everyone says Fes is special but I worry about it being too similar to Marrakech and wasting precious time. Also I keep reading conflicting stuff about whether to pre-book desert tours online or just book once I'm in Fes - anyone have strong feelings about that? My Arabic is nonexistent and my French is terrible so I'm a bit nervous about getting scammed but also don't want to pay triple the price by booking from abroad.
