I have been lurking on this part of the forum for a while and finally decided to post because I keep going back and forth in my head about whether to get paint protection film for my car. I drive a white Honda Accord and I use it every single day for work, school runs, and the occasional trip to Abu Dhabi, so it sees a lot of highway time. The front bumper already has a few tiny chips that I only noticed when I washed the car last weekend and honestly it kind of ruined my mood because the car is only a year old. Now I am wondering if getting PPF now would stop it from getting worse or if I am just being paranoid and should save the money. A friend told me that a lot of people in Musaffah get it done and that there is a place that seems popular, he said I should just click here to see what they offer but I have not really looked into it properly yet. My main questions are whether the film actually lasts in this heat because summers here are brutal and I have seen some cars with yellowing film which looks terrible, and whether it is better to do the whole car or just the front. Also does it affect resale value in a good way or do buyers not really care. I am not a car guy at all so please explain like I am five. What would you do if you were me. Thanks.
