Iam preparing to release my book and have started researching book distributors in USA, but Iam not sure which factors deserve the most attention. Iam looking at retailer reach, bookstore access, fees, order handling, royalties, and sales reporting. For authors with real distribution experience, what should I compare before making a decision? I would appreciate serious, honest suggestions and lessons from your own publishing journey.
