10 Essential Tips for Mastering the Aion 2 Economy Early On (4 อ่าน)

19 มิ.ย. 2569 09:37

To achieve financial success in NCSoft's Aion 2, mastering the game's strict dual-currency baseline, smart resource management, and trading mechanics is essential. Generating wealth early on is crucial for financing endgame progression, gear enhancements, and crafting.

These 10 strategic principles and actionable tips will help you control the market and build a massive reserve of Kinah early in your journey.

1. Understand the Dual-Currency Pipeline

The foundation of the economic model strictly separates your progression tracks. You cannot directly exchange one currency for another, which helps control overall inflation:

Kinah: The standard PvE currency used for market trades via the Broker, crafting fees, gear enhancement, repairs, and consumables.

Abyss Points (AP): The competitive PvP currency earned from battlegrounds, open-world rifting, and specific Abyss targets. Do not expect to fund a crafting hobby entirely through PvP.

2. Bypass the Broker Fee with P2P Trading

The Broker marketplace charges a transaction tax on listed items. For high-value early-game items like rare crafting components or endgame materials, look for direct Player-to-Player (P2P) trading. Direct trading serves as a tax dodge, allowing both the buyer and seller to retain a higher profit margin.

3. Exploit the 100% Enhancement Refund

Unlike older MMORPGs, upgrading gear while leveling to the max level of 45 is not a waste of resources. When you extract or break down an upgraded item, the game fully refunds the enhancement stones used to level it up. While the extraction process costs a small fee of Kinah, it allows you to stay powerful without losing your long-term stockpile of upgrade materials.

4. Build an "Alt Army" for Crafting & Gathering

Your main character should focus on running high-level instances and endgame progression. Create alternative characters (alts) to act as your dedicated crafting and gathering support. Because many daily rewards, dungeon entries, and event items are character-bound, running alts to level 35–45 allows you to funnel massive amounts of tradeable materials back to your main account.

5. Control Open-World Gathering Nodes

Raw resources hold immense value early in a server's lifecycle. Open-world gathering nodes act as strategic economic control points. Map out efficient gathering routes through high-yield zones while traveling between quests. Selling raw materials directly to lazy or wealthy players via the Broker provides a highly reliable, RNG-free stream of early cash.

6. Capitalize on Market Reset Cycles

Do not rush to undercut other sellers on the Broker, as aggressive price-dropping ruins long-term profits. Instead, spend 10 minutes each session checking "recent sales" trends to study supply and demand. List your items during peak player hours or right after weekly server resets when high-end crafters are rushing to buy resources.

7. Avoid the Hoaching Trap (Liquidate Early)

The value of common materials and low-level gear drops drastically as the player base levels up. Liquidate early by selling everything you don't immediately need. Keeping your wealth liquid in the form of Kinah allows you to buy permanent upgrades, such as critical skill books or end-game recipes, before their prices inflate.

8. Target High-Value Dungeon Drops

While standard questing builds your economic baseline, dungeon instances provide the highest wealth spikes. Specifically, farm the Fire Temple (Exploration version). This particular dungeon has a high drop rate for gold items, costs minimal energy, and doesn't require entry tickets. You can use these gold item drops to reroll endgame gear stats or extract them for valuable materials.

9. Master the Group Loot Window

When running 4-player dungeons or large-scale world content, pay close attention to the group loot window. Knowing the exact value of rare crafting drops versus item pieces allows you to make smart bidding choices. Winning and flipping a single highly desired recipe or rare material drop on the Broker can fund your character's expenses for an entire week.

10. Maximize Unlocked Subscription Perks

To fully interact with the economy, keep in mind that trading and using the Broker marketplace requires the foundational Wind Breeze game subscription. If you are looking to optimize further, secondary memberships grant extra Odo energy cube selections and increased daily reward charges. Maximize these daily benefits to efficiently convert your playtime into market power.
