  U4GM Explains How to Finish PoE2 Runeseeker (3 อ่าน)

8 มิ.ย. 2569 15:25

Runeseeker is one of those Path of Exile 2 quests that seems harmless at first, then quietly follows you through the whole campaign. You meet Farrow early in Clearfell, right after you deal with the monsters around a Kalguuran Runic Remnant. He shows you how Runesmithing works, which is handy if you're already sorting through gear, crafting bases, andPoE 2 Items while trying not to overfill your stash. From there, the job is simple on paper: find Runestones, open Runic Vaults, and keep checking your region map so you don't miss a step.

How the quest actually works

Farrow doesn't ask you to clear one fixed dungeon and call it a day. Instead, each major part of the campaign has its own Runestones. These are large rune-marked objects placed somewhere in the zone, and because Path of Exile 2 maps can roll differently, their exact spot won't be the same for every player. That's why the best habit is boring but useful: sweep the edges, check side paths, and open the region map before leaving an Act. Once you've found every Runestone tied to that Act, the Runic Vault location appears on the map.

StepWhere to focusWhat to do

1ClearfellHelp Farrow at the Runic Remnant and unlock the quest.

2Act 1Find the Runestones, then enter the Runic Vault in the Lost Catacombs.

3Act 2Track down the Runestones and open the Skull of the Titan Runic Vault.

4Act 3Search the required areas and enter the Mystic Refuge Runic Vault.

5Act 4Collect four treasure map pieces, clear Plunder Point, then reach the Deserted Post Runic Vault.

Why players miss Runestones

The main trap is speed. A lot of players push the main route, kill the boss, move on, and only realise later that Farrow's quest hasn't advanced. Then it's backtracking time, and nobody enjoys that. Runestones can sit off the natural path, so don't assume you'll bump into every one while following objectives. If the Runic Vault hasn't appeared yet, you've missed something. The region map is your friend here. Use it before leaving Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3, because returning later breaks the flow of the campaign.

Finding the Act 4 treasure map pieces

Act 4 changes the routine a bit. Instead of just hunting Runestones, you need four torn treasure map pieces across the Karui archipelago. Look for special corpses in Kedge Bay, Shrike Island, Whakapanu Island, and the Isle of Kin. Interact with each corpse to grab its map fragment. After you have all four, take them to Makoru in Kingsmarch. Don't hand them to Dannig by mistake. Makoru reveals Plunder Point, and that's where you sail next. Once there, place bombs around the island, detonate them, and finish the Expedition encounter to unlock the last vault.

A cleaner way to finish it

If you want the quest to feel painless, treat Runeseeker like a side checklist that runs beside your main campaign route. Clear a zone, scan for rune objects, check the map, then move on. It's not complicated, but it does punish rushing. Players who plan their gearing around crafting, Runesmithing, andcheap PoE 2 Items will usually get more value from Farrow's unlocks as they progress, especially before the campaign starts throwing tougher fights at them.
