Best Methods to Change Faction in Aion 2 (3 อ่าน)

7 พ.ค. 2569 15:49

In Aion 2, choosing between the Elyos and Asmodians is one of the first big decisions you make as a player. This choice affects your character’s look, starting area, and story. Right now, there isn’t a direct way to switch factions once your character is made. But there are a few workarounds you can use to experience the other side.

1. Create a New Account (The Most Direct Method)

The most straightforward way to play the opposite faction is to start fresh. Here’s what you need to know:

Account Restrictions: You can’t make an Elyos and an Asmodian character on the same server using a single account. This prevents spying or unfair advantages.

Solution: Register a new PLAYNC or Google account. With a fresh account, you can create a character on the other faction on your server of choice.

This method is simple but means starting over from level 1. Your old character’s items and progress won’t transfer automatically.

2. Watch for Server Events or Merges

NCSOFT sometimes offers temporary faction-change opportunities during special events:

Faction Imbalance Events: If one faction has too few players, the developers might open a limited-time window for players to switch to the weaker side. These are often free or discounted.

Server Merges: When servers merge or undergo major updates, compensation packages sometimes include faction transfer tickets. Keep an eye on official announcements.

Timing is everything here—you’ll need to act fast when these events appear.

3. Explore the Enemy Side via Rifts (Temporary Change)

If your goal is just to experience the enemy’s maps or PvP, you don’t need to switch permanently:

Rifts: These are spatial tears that let you enter enemy territory temporarily. You can explore, fight, or complete objectives while there.

The Abyss: A neutral PvP zone where both factions fight for fortress control. You can experience enemy gameplay and maps without a full faction switch.

This method is perfect for scouting, practicing PvP, or just seeing what the other side looks like.

4. Plan Before Switching

Before making a new account or waiting for an event, check these key points:

Server Population: Look at community hubs like the Aion 2 Wiki or U4GM to see which faction dominates your server. You don’t want to join a side that’s empty or overcrowded.

Class Differences: Some skills, aesthetics, or minor mechanics differ between Elyos and Asmodians. Make sure your preferred class feels right on the new faction.

By preparing ahead, you can minimize wasted time and make your new faction experience smoother.
