Something I’ve noticed over time—people treat all antibiotics like they’re interchangeable, but that’s not really true. Different classes work differently depending on the infection type.

I didn’t realize this until I was switched from a common antibiotic to Doxycin 100mg for a more persistent issue. The difference wasn’t dramatic overnight, but it felt more consistent and targeted.

Made me wonder how often treatment “fails” not because antibiotics don’t work, but because the wrong type is being used.

Anyone else learned this the hard way?
