Brake job in Al Quoz on my day off, what should I ask first? (8 อ่าน)

Tomorrow is my only day off this month, and I want to spend it fixing the brakes on my Mitsubishi Pajero before the noise gets worse. For about ten days now, there has been a dry scraping sound from the front wheels when I slow down, and my son said it sounds like a metal spoon in a drawer. The car has about ninety thousand kilometres, and the pads have never been changed since I bought it. I work in Al Quoz, so I am thinking of going somewhere close and waiting while they do it. I looked online for a Reliable Brake Pad Replacement Dubai in Al Quoz , but every page said fast and cheap, so I still do not know what a good shop does that a bad one skips. What should I ask before I hand over the keys? Should they measure the discs first, and what do I say if they tell me the discs are too thin? Is it normal for them to clean and grease the brake parts, or is that extra? Should I ask for the old pads back, so I can see the wear? Also, how long does a front pad job take on a big SUV, and what should it cost? One more thing. After the job, should I drive gently for a few days, or is the car ready to go? If you did a brake job on a busy day, please tell me what you asked, what you paid, and what you would do differently. Easy answers help me most.
