My Ford Explorer's engine makes a ticking noise when I start it cold (4 อ่าน)

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer and I need some advice from people who know Ford cars. For the past few weeks, when I start my car in the morning, I hear a ticking noise coming from the engine. The noise lasts for maybe two or three minutes and then goes away once the engine warms up. The car drives fine, no warning lights, no loss of power. But that ticking sound worries me. I asked a friend who knows cars and he said it might be low oil or maybe the lifters. I checked my oil level and it was fine. I use the oil that the manual recommends. A mechanic at a general garage told me not to worry, that some Ford engines just tick when they are cold. But I am not convinced. I don't want to ignore something that could become a big problem later. I have been looking online for a place that does Ford repair and servicing Abu Dhabi because I want a specialist to listen to my engine and tell me if this is normal or not. Has anyone else had a ticking noise on their Ford Explorer, especially the 3.5 liter engine? What was the problem? Was it something serious like a timing chain issue or something minor like a noisy injector? How can I tell the difference? Also, if it is a serious problem, how much time do I have before it fails? I need my car every day for work and I can't afford to have it in the shop for weeks. Please share your experiences if you have dealt with this ticking noise. I would really appreciate any honest advice. I just want to know if I should worry or if I can relax and keep driving.
